Mugga Wara Endoscopy Centre uses advanced endoscopic equipment that provide high-definition images to aid diagnosis and treatment.
Narrow Band Imaging is an imaging technique where light of specific blue and green wavelengths is used to enhance the detail of certain aspects of the surface of the mucosa. This delivers increased brightness and contrast and leads to improved lesion detection.
The use of carbon dioxide gas to inflate the intestine for ease of view, instead of air, has improved recovery times with very little cramping and embarrassing flatus post-procedure. The carbon dioxide is absorbed by the body and removed by normal breathing mechanisms, leaving very little to pass through the bowel.
Our cleaning and reprocessing of the endoscopes is attended to by experienced staff and automated disinfection machines that alert staff to any faults and blockages. This allows precision reprocessing and disinfection of the endoscopes after each use.
